In Dominica, Razel Water Solutions supplies and installs a complete compact 840 m3/h capacity drinking water treatment plant including: 4 flocculators, 4 settling tanks, 1 treated water container and a chemical injection system.
This project includes the supply and installation of 4 11m x 2.2m fast sand filters, the installation of a SCADA system to manage all the installed equipment and a chlorination system, the construction and/or refurbishment of various buildings, the electrification of the installed parts and installation of an emergency generator, the installation of a fence around the site and the landscaping.
This work began following Hurricane Maria in September 2017, despite a damaged infrastructure (roads, electricity and telephone networks, etc.) and supply issues (quarries, concrete plant).
The design of the station has optimised energy consumption.
