Sustainable development
Driven by the Group’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, Razel Water Solutions is part of Razel-Bec’s strategic multi-year programme. In addition to the quantified business and results targets, employee safety, innovation, environmental protection, involvement in local life and development, digital transition and the work-life balance are structural and ambitious themes that are an integral part of this strategic plan.
With an active training policy, responsible practices geared towards the population and the future, and the desire to play an active role in the ecological and energy transition, the Razel-Bec Group and its subsidiaries are building a better future and contributing to improving the environment. In 2018, this commitment materialised with the signing of the United Nations Global Compact initiative, committing the company to the 17 United Nations sustainable development goals.
Corporate social responsability
Even in 2020, more than 2 billion people in the world do not have access to safe drinking water and sanitation. Global warming, population growth and rapid urbanisation only aggravate water stress.
Razel Water Solutions is obviously concerned and therefore involved in the water sector, particularly in implementing the Goal 6 “clean water and sanitation” actions. For example, in Cameroon, Razel Water Solutions and Razel Cameroon have commissioned 5 new wells to provide the local population with access to drinking water.
